Drinking Water in Takapau (23/01/218) The purpose of this message is to update you regarding Drinking Water in Takapau.
I am pleased to report that the samples taken on both Sunday and Monday have been reported as clear of e-coli. We are awaiting the full report from the laboratory but early indications are is that the results from Friday were a false sample.
We will continue to sample the water daily until we have had three clear samples in a row. This means that if today’s sample results, which we will get tomorrow, come back as clear we will return to business as usual.
I wish to thank my staff who have acted so promptly on this issue and acted with pace and professionalism.
Thank you for your understanding at this time.

Sundaze With The Puketapu
Sacred Hill Vineyards and classic country pub The Puketapu have joined forces for Sundaze - wine, food and music in the Bay’s beautiful Dartmoor countryside, amongst the established trees and gardens at the original winery site.
“At Sacred Hill we make wines to be enjoyed with food, family and friends - we’ve always loved welcoming people here so it’s great to be opening the doors again for 4 Sundays over the summer with our great friends at The Puketapu.”
The Puketapu’s popular chefs will create delectable, well priced country lunches using the freshest local produce, matched with Sacred Hill Orange Label, Reserve and Special Selection wines. Beers, cider and soft drinks will also be available.
Each Sundaze event will feature a different live music act to relax or dance to. The line up includes; Hawke’s Bay's Eilish Rose, Tim Hansen, Ian Munro, and with Men in Black for the final Deco Sundaze.
Chill out in the country with Sundaze, at Sacred Hill's cellar door with The Puketapu.
No cover charge.
No BYO food or beverage.
No dogs please.
(Sacred Hill Cellar Door: 10km west from The Puketapu, on the Dartmoor).
