Initial proposal for representation arrangements for the 2025 local elections

On 27 June 2024 the Central Hawke’s Bay District Council reviewed its representation arrangements and resolved that the attached proposal apply for the Council and its community boards for the elections to be held on 11 October 2025.

It is proposed that the Council comprises the Mayor, elected at large, and 9 Councillors, with 7 Councillors elected from three wards and 2 Councillors elected at large (from the district as a whole).
