Waipawa and Districts Centennial Memorial Pool

This is a 25 metre outdoor pool and the facility includes a learners pool and access ramps to both swimming areas. The Waipawa and Districts Centennial Memorial Pool is only open during the summer months and the opening hours can change without notice as they are weather dependant.

The Waipawa and District Centennial Memorial Pool project began following the pool being closed in 2017 after major leaks were discovered.
The Community with the support of Council, are working together to see the Waipawa and Districts Pool returned to its former thriving glory.

Centralines Sports Complex

Waipukurau has a heated indoor swimming pool which is owned by the CHB Community Trust. The Trust is contracted with Council to provide swimming services for the District through a Service Agreement. Council's involvement is to provide some funding and to monitor the performance of the Trust with respect to the agreement.

The stadium has a sprung wooden floor and is used for Basketball, Indoor Soccer, Netball, Indoor Hockey and Miniball. The stadium can also be hired out to approved groups for major functions. Please enquire at reception.
