You need to have a permit to occupy the site where you intend to put up and run fairground equipment and amusement devices.
If you want to operate amusement devices or fairground equipment, you first need to apply for a permit to occupy the site. The amusement device or equipment will also need to be constructed and operated in such a way as to be safe for users.
A permit for each amusement device will be required. A fee will apply and the application must be accompanied by the current certificate of registration issued by the Department of Labour.
Environmental Health Officers will need to inspect the certificate and the site once construction of the device or equipment is complete to ensure safety standards are met before you may operate. Please contact us on 06 857 8069 for further information.
