Information on Council supported public swimming pools in Central Hawke's Bay

This is a 25-metre outdoor pool and the facility includes a learners' pool and access ramps to both swimming areas. The Waipawa and Districts Centennial Memorial Pool is only open during the summer months.

Waipukurau has a heated indoor swimming pool that is owned by the CHB Community Trust. The Trust is contracted with Council to provide swimming services for the district through a service agreement. Council's involvement is to provide some funding and to monitor the performance of the Trust with respect to the agreement.

The stadium has a sprung wooden floor and is used for basketball, indoor soccer, netball, indoor hockey and miniball. The stadium can also be hired out to approved groups for major functions. Please enquire at reception.
