Harvest Moon is proud to present the REVIVAL - a musical extravaganza featuring three of the World’s finest tribute acts - BJORN AGAIN, THE KILLER QUEEN EXPERIENCE, LANCE STRAUSS’ ELTON JACK. Fans of legendary artists ABBA, Queen, and Elton John are in for a fABBA-ulous summer’s day of belting out time-honoured tunes, getting dressed up in their 70s/80s best at the stunning NAPIER SOUNDSHELL, on SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 8 2025.
BJORN AGAIN – the world’s number one ABBA Show, and the only ABBA tribute act to be endorsed by Bjorn Ulvaeus himself, will bring the beloved sounds of ABBA (and, of course the unforgettable Mamma Mia soundtrack!). Their high-energy entertainment, complete with authentic 70s costumes, action-packed antics and “Swedish” chat, will have you singing and dancing the night away. It’s time to discover for yourself why Bjorn Again is the most successful tribute act of all time!
Fans of Queen will be bowled over by spot-on renditions of their powerful anthems performed by THE KILLER QUEEN EXPERIENCE. John Blunt’s remarkable vocal resemblance to the late, great, Freddie Mercury brings the power and precision of Queen’s unparalleled back catalogue to life. The showmanship and flamboyance that Freddie brought onto stage, along with a portrayal of the entire Queen lineup complete with costumes, replica instruments and those iconic harmonies, will be embodied right before your eyes by The Killer Queen Experience.
ELTON JACK, a tribute show created by Lance Strauss, will take fans on a journey through the greatest hits of the one and only Elton John. Known for his uncanny resemblance to the rock legend, Strauss nails the costumes, piano playing, and powerful vocals that made Elton an international superstar. Endorsed by Elton John himself, Elton Jack guarantees to be a dazzling celebration of the Rocket Man's unparalleled musical legacy.
REVIVAL will take place at the Napier Soundshell, an iconic venue that sits right on the waterfront in the heart of central Napier. This is the first ticketed event that the soundshell has offered in the past 40 years (last show was Cold Chisel and INXS), definitely making it one you don't want to miss. Offering a stunning setting and fantastic acoustics, the Soundshell is the perfect location for this high-energy event. With the events seven-hour celebration of music, fans will relive the magic of these legendary artists at the peak of their careers.
Napier City Council Event Manger Kevin Murphy says “This is a fantastic opportunity to see The Soundshell utlised to its potential, like we used to do back in the 80s with Cold Chisel and INXS. We would love to use this uniquely Napier venue like this in the future for a variety of acts and hopefully people will support the concept."
