Community Billboards

Promote your next event, programme or festival on one of our five community billboards. It's easy! Just complete the booking form below and send us your request.

Our community billboards are available for the community to use to promote events, festivals, programmes and more. Our Open Spaces Officer currently manages the bookings via an online calendar system.

We manage five billboard spaces across two sites in the district, but a person or organisation can only book a maximum of two sites at any one time. Each of the billboard spaces measure 2.4 metres wide by 1.2 metre high. When booking your billboard space, refer to the colour listed alongside each of the billboards below.

Waipukurau billboard

The south-facing billboard (RED) faces northbound traffic and sits just before the State Highway 2 bridge leaving Waipukurau, on road verge by Waipukurau Holiday Park.

We do not manage the north-facing billboard at this location. This is managed the Waipukurau Business Association and can be booked via their contact De on 021 2939 697 or via email to shop@de-cavern.co.nz.

Waipawa billboard

There are four billboard spaces available for community bookings in Waipawa. These sit on a timber structure near the St. John's building beside State Highway 2, at the sourthern end of Waipawa's main street. The four billboards are positioned to be visible to traffic as set out below:

  • Waipawa 1 (YELLOW) is the lower billboard facing south, visible to northbound traffic.
  • Waipawa 2 (GREEN) is the lower billboard facing north, visible to southbound traffic.
  • Waipawa 3 (BLUE) is the upper billboard facing south, visible to northbound traffic.
  • Waipawa 4 (PURPLE) is the upper billboard facing north, visible to southbound traffic.
