UtilitiesOur District Plan is our key planning document that guides the way our district looks and feels.
We have recently completed a full review of our District Plan. This process included public submissions and hearings. The majority of appeals to the Environment Court are now resolved and at a Council meeting on 31 October 2024, a resolution was passed to make the District Plan ‘operative in part’.
There are still some minor parts of the plan that are not yet operative, and these are annotated within the plan.
