Water Main Break – Porangahau Road, Waipukurau

Water main break Porangahau Road 2

A water main break occurred at approximately 7.00am this morning on Porangahau Road in Waipukurau, between Eden Terrace and Brooker Place. Due to this, residents are experiencing a loss of water supply in the following areas:

  • Porangahau Road (between Lake View Road and Racecourse Road)
  • Eden Terrace
  • Brooker Place
  • Smith Street
  • Rose Street
  • Graingers Lane

Crews are working to repair the break as quickly as possible, with an estimated completion time of 12.00pm today. As the breakage has occurred next to a power pole, Centralines are on site to support the pole while we excavate the pipe.

Water collection will be available to those residents who need it on Apatu Place, off Lake View Road. Please take a container for filling.
