UNDER the provisions of the Tenth Schedule of the Local Government Act 1974, Section 342 (b), notice is hereby given that the following roads will temporarily close to ordinary vehicular traffic for the hours specified, for the purpose of the Targa New Zealand 2019 Rally Event.
Roads proposed to be closed to ordinary vehicular traffic:
Date of Closure: Sunday 19th May 2019
Stage ELSTHORPE EXTENDED 12.10PM – 4.10PM
Starting on Kahuranaki Road, 4km from its intersection with Rochfort Road. Past Mackenzie Road, right into Elsthorpe Road at its intersection with Kairakau Road, past Kenderdine Road, past Atua Road (including Elmshill Road) past St Lawrence and Cheviot Road, past Mangarara Road, past River Road, left at its intersection with Middle Road. Finish at Elsthorpe Road, 200m from its intersection with Te Kura Road.
Stage TE ONEPU/ ARGYLL EAST 2.05PM- 6.05PM
Starting Te Onepu Road, 300m from its intersection with SH2. Left into Argyll Road at its intersection with Ruakawa Road, past The Brow, past Range Road, left into College Road. Finish at College Road, 200m from its intersection with SH2.
Stage MIDDLE ROAD 2.45PM – 6.45PM
Starting Te Aute Trust Road, 300m before house number 658. Past Aupaki Raod, left into Middle Road, past Rowe Road, past Blind Road, past Mutiny Road, past Hilton Station Road, past Crystall Road. Finish at Middle Road, 300m from its intersection with Endsleigh Road.
Any persons objecting to the above proposal is called upon to lodge notice of their objection by email at info@chbdc.govt.nz or in writing at the office of Central Hawkes Bay District Council, Ruataniwha Street, PO Box 127, Waipawa before 4.00pm Tuesday 12th March 2019.
