Over the Holidays the Council office in Waipawa is closing on Friday 20 December at 4.30pm and re-opening on Monday 6 January at 8am. Although our office will be closed, you can still contact our Customer Service team on 06 857 8060 – 24/7.


The Knowledge and Learning Hub – Te Huinga Wai and AA Service

 

  • Closed from 24 December 4pm to 3 January - Open Normal Hours From 6 January 2025

Waipawa Library

  • Closed from 24 December 4pm to 3 January - Open Normal Hours From 6 January 2025. For information on library services including school holiday programmes, head to www.chblibrary.nz.



Kerbside Recycling and Refuse Collection

 

Collections as below:

  • Waipukurau Pink Zone - Monday
  • Waipukurau Yellow Zone - Tuesday
  • Waipawa - Friday 27th December & 3rd January only
  • Takapau, Ongaonga, Tikokino, Ōtāne - Thursday

Please ensure your rubbish bags and recycling crates are kerbside by 7.30am.


Transfer Stations

  • Waipukurau Transfer Station will be CLOSED on Christmas Day and New Years Day
  • Pōrangahau - normal hours - Sunday

Rural Mobile Recycling Trailers
