Summer In the Park - Nairobi Trio

Nairobi Trio:
One of NZ’s favourite Jazz Trio’s returns to Hawke’s Bay. Featuring John Quigley (guitar/vocals), Richard Adams (violin/vocals), and Peter Koopman (bass/vocals) they are the perfect act to open the free Summer in the Parks concert series in Cornwall Park.

Their music is a unique blend of swing, jazz and gypsy tunes strongly influenced by Jango Reinhardt and Stephane Grappelli. Come and enjoy one of Hastings most beautiful parks and relax with friends and family www.nairobitrio.co.nz/.

Summer in the Park has been running in Cornwall Park for more than 18 years offering free concerts every Sunday from end of January to end of February. Each concert offers a unique opportunity to listen to local musicians in the beautiful environment of Cornwall Park.

Jan 28 - Nairobi Trio
Feb 04 - The Kawekas
Feb 11 - Sonic Delusion
Feb 18 - Deco Bay Napier Brass Band
Feb 25 - Jody Direen

This series is proudly supported by Infinity Foundation, Eastern and Central Community Trust, First Light Foundation and Creative Communities Hastings. Hastings City Council is a core founder and the series is produced by Arts Inc. Heretaunga for Summer in the Parks.
