Kings & Associates New Zealand Shows

Award-winning Australian blues band Kings & Associates announce two NZ Shows.

In support of the release of their highly acclaimed latest album Tales Of A Rich Girl, Adelaide Neo Blues band Kings & Associates are heading to New Zealand to play shows in Napier and Whangarei on the 2nd and 3rd of March respectively.

Since their humble beginnings, winning the 2014 South Australian Blues & Roots Association Award for 'Most Outstanding New Act', Kings & Associates have truly developed into one of Australia's most uniquely new and exciting neo blues bands.

Their 2014 debut album Red Dress, recorded in Adelaide and mixied by Andrija Tokic ( Alabama Shakes' 'Boys & Girls'), incredibly hit no.1 on the iTunes Blues charts in Australia.

Their 2017 follow up album, Tales Of A Rich Girl, produced by Jim Scott (Rolling Stones, Tedeschi Trucks, Sting, the Chilli Peppers, Foo Fighters, Matchbox 20, Crowded House) and mixed by Vance Powell (Dixie Chicks, Jack White and Chris Stapleton) went to number 1 on the Australian Blues and Roots Radio Charts in week 2 of its release, and reached number 15 on the Roots Radio International Charts, compiled from global radio play lists.

Reviews have been nothing short of astonishing with Huffington Post’s Randy Radic labelling it “a humdinger from the land down under”.

Just announced, Kings & Associates head the list of nominations for the 2018 Australian Blues Music Awards, picking up a nomination in the categories; Album of the Year, Song of the Year and Artist of the Year and Duo or Group of the Year.

In 2018, Kings will be performing a string of shows throughout Australia to support their new album, including festivals such as WOMADelaide, BlenheimFest, EchucaWinter Blues, The Fringe, and will embark on their first New Zealand shows in early March.

Tales Of A Rich Girl is now available from iTunes, Spotify and all good digital platforms.
