Cycling Tracks in Central Hawke's Bay
Central Hawke's Bay has a great cycling track (Tukituki Trail) that runs between the towns of Waipukurau and Waipawa.
This track begins at Russell Park in Waipukurau, follows the Tukituki River and crosses at Tapairu Road. You can then follow Tapairu Road north to the Waipawa River or come back down the other side of the river. You can then carry on riding down to Lindsay Bush or cross the river via the road bridge back to Russell Park.
The beginning of this track is limestone, with a mountain bike trail running adjacent to it, until Tapairu Road where it runs on the road until its end at the Waipawa River.
