Central Hawke's Bay District Council Crest

Use of the  Central Hawke's Bay District Council Crest requires written consent of the Council before use.

Symbolism

11'16 green field (background) represents the pastures and the abundance of the
district.

11'16 two rivers, Waipawa and Tukituki are represented by the two blue wary
bars.

The sun with straight and wary rays, represents the light and warmth, the two necessities for growth.

The sheaf of wheat (garb) represents horticulture, the fleece represents agriculture, and the ship (lymphad) represents the exports on which the district depends for its prosperity.
